This is my training log for 1/31/22 and the beginning of my second month training consistently three times a week (pats self on back). I’m no longer a stone at the top of the hill trying to break inertia. I’ve now hit somewhat of a stride and am now beginning to roll down the hill of my own accord. Who knows? Pretty soon, maybe I’ll be gaining speed and tumbling down the hill, right?
Well, I feel good about myself, but I’m imagining ‘haters’ making negative comments as I’m writing this. I think this fitness journey is so new that I don’t even have haters yet, though. I have to remind myself that, at the end of the day, it’s only been a month, which is next to nothing.
In this time span, though, I’ve gotten stronger and feel like I’ve put on muscle, so I’m happy about that. My weight has been about the same, however, at around 215. Some days its down, some days it’s up. Honestly, it’s fluctuating between 212 and 215 the entire month.
This may have something to do with me taking more creatine and increasing my carb intake dramatically and holding more water, though.
My physique looks less soft compared to my first week of working out, but let’s face it. I’m still pretty soft and sitting at or around 20-25% body fat.
But, who knows? Maybe I was at 30% before, so this is a great achievement. Of course, I have no idea because I’m not dropping money on a body scanner right now, nor does it really matter that much because I can use my eyes to see the difference.
We also talk about China’s promoting of masculinity and compare that to our promotion of weakness and feminization here in America and what that means for the future, as well as some of the crazy goings-on up in Canada right now. Freedom truckers, baby. God bless ’em.
